Founded in 2003, Mofo Lounge is a Moroccan inspired Function Venue and Cocktail Lounge. We have two function spaces which are available for function hire or as a location for photos shoots and filming. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
Mofo Lounge offers two unique function spaces that can cater for small or large events. Casablanca Lounge is our smaller function room located on the ground floor whilst Morocco Lounge is located on the 1st floor.
When we do not have a private function booked in Casablanca Lounge will be open to the public for our Cocktail Nights offering drinks specials, board games and a Tapas snack menu.
We are available for hire 7 days a week and are licensed Monday-Saturday 7am-1am and on Sunday 10am-1am.
Casablanca Lounge (Ground Floor) is a gorgeous, Moroccan inspired function lounge. The intimate size of the space makes it the ideal party venue for smaller groups with a capacity for up to 35 guests. It’s unique size allows a smaller function groups to have exclusive hire of the space for your event. You will have your own bar, wait staff, audio visual equipment and connections for a Dj. The venue has ample seating made up of chairs, daybeds, ottomans and couches and has beautiful bifold windows that open onto the street giving amazing natural lighting. An intimate venue truly creates the party vibe and guests tend to dance anywhere within the space.
Morocco Lounge (First Floor) is a stunning event space adorned in rich Arabesque tapestries, large ornate mirrors and antique lanterns from Morocco which dapple the walls with intricate patterns of light. It is the perfect function space for larger groups with a capacity for up to 114 guests. Large luxurious daybeds, a private bar and space for dancing make this an impressive setting for any special event. The space offers ample seating and quiet corners for those who want to sit and relax, as well as the perfect dance floor area. The room is equiped audio visual equipment, a sound system which allows you to connect your own music device or Dj, and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
Though we are primarily an events venue, we do open to the public when we don’t have a function booked in on a Friday or Saturday night. On these nights Casablanca Lounge will be open to the public for our Cocktail Nights when we offer an extensive Cocktail List and Tapas Menu as well as a happy hour to get the night started. Shisha and a range of board games are also available. Our public Cocktail Making Classes are also able to be booked on these night with no minimum guest number requirements. These make for a great fun activity with friends, or for that perfect date night with a difference. We also host speed dating nights for Speed Dating Australia.
